Festival goers are invited to talk on their given specialist or non-specialist topic: fact, fiction, weird, imagined... whatever. 

Test your ideas, spew your dreams and speak your brains! 

5-10 minutes, no Powerpoint, no slides, no screens - DIY props, crap visual aids and interpretive dance encouraged.

Previous iterations of SYB heard from a speaker with a PhD in fly semen; a free-wheeling monologue on processed meat; a comedic take on Dragons Den; a series of unlikely events in the depths of the mountains - to name but a few.
